LEGENDARY

LEGENDARY

Truly biased to saying this because Jay is the greatest of all time.

“Run This Town” Jay-Z, Kanye West, & Rihanna will be on the upcoming Blueprint 3 which drops on Sept 11th 2009. This Marks the anniversary once again from the classic Blueprint which dropped on Sept 11th 2001. Jay has purposely dropped such a heavy album on this infamous date. This Song gives the audience a glimpse of what’s yet to come with Jay’s new label ROC-NATION. Critics/Haters need to fall back in my opinion at this point. It is too late and irrelevant to complain about jay-z and his age. The music which he is producing is exactly what is needed in the game right now with only the fashion influenced music. We need something with actual substance and lyrics. There is not a rappers in his prime in this day that can even go bar for bar with Jay at his age now. Please to all of you, refrain form comparing Lil Wayne to Jay not now or ever.

Check out this already classic track.

Legends never die nor do they age.

JERK

Is another dance craze what we need in the music industry right now???

I thought people had enough for a lifetime after "crankin that Soulja boy" for over a year.

Leave it to CALI kids to come up with something even more bizarre. First, the STOMP era which they over dramatized and now this. Mimicking a dance crazy on a basis to set your career isn’t financially smart to be quit honest. Fads go in and out especially things of this nature. Once again, Fashion is playing a bigger role in music rather than actual lyrics and concepts. The longevity of such crazes isn’t prolonged more than one album simply because they have nothing else to talk about. Records such as these don’t sell albums; they sell singles and the ever popular ring tones these days. I guess this craze is cool for now but seems a bit awkward if someone over the age of 18 does this. The demise inedibley of “jerkin” will be the age factor. The kids who are doing it will soon grow out of it themselves.

W.T.F.???

Sorry for my obscene language and incorrect grammar which is about to follow this sentence. Who the fuck does this ass clown think he is???

I guess I’m turning into a permanent Drake Hater, but quite frankly I don’t give a damn. I’m sorry to everyone for who is a fan of this dude. I don’t understand what people see in this kid. He is taking Hip Hop and fans of Hip Hop for granted. He is trying to play the audience. Just because he is on the radio and they can’t see him, they still know that these are rehearsed rhymes and they won’t pass for a freestyle. He has No swag what so ever and in fact he is quite corny. Matter of Fact, he is extremely corny. He is tryning to hype himself up in the booth but no one is getting excited. I dare any Drake Fan to watch this so called “freestyle” and try to defend his rhymes. IMPOSSIBLE.

MILK & HONEY

This blog wasn’t initially started to talk so much about RnB, but what can I say other than this update needed to be done. It’s bordering on a pervious update I had that related with the Autotune issue. This track entitled “MILK AND HONEY” is by the beautiful and talented singer GOAPELE. It goes to show you how a little bit of Autotune used just for a few seconds enhances the song tremendously. But I have to say that this song would still have been amazing without the use of Autotune. Her voice is remarkably mellow and soothing. This track will be on her upcoming album Entitled "Milk & Honey" in 2010.

Check out this Track, Its Amazing

Recipe For Disaster???

For those that dont know
My boy Trey Songz has picked a fight with an RnB Legend. None other than R.DOT himself, R.Kelly. Wheather you like R.Kelly or not, you have to admit that the dude is amazingly talented.
Songz tried to clown Kelly for hopping on the Autotune bangwagon. Most would say that Trey is wrong for disrespecting such an artist with so much history, but I feel otherwise. The "Death of Autotune REMIX" D.O.A. track embarasses kelly for using the autotune. "KELLY YOU THE KING BUT YOU TRYNA BE THE DREAM. AY AY AY AY" Trey credits Kelly for being such an icon but frowns upon his use of the autotune. Kellz however has reponded with a diss record for trey songz, where he uses the autotune on the hook.
So what do you all think, Should Trey pick on R.Kelly because of this or is trey setting himself up with this recipe for disaster?

REBIRTH???

Can it...?

Will it...?

Thats something the fans have been pondering for the last year now. Lil wayne has supposable been set to release the ROCK/RAP album entitles REBIRTH with the last quarter of this year. Now im skeptikal to the idea of a rap feine like wayne himself actually delivering an entire album hard rock album. Mr.Carter has came a long way from the ever poplualr "BLING BLING" era to nowdays where he feels comfortable in tight jeans and flourscent Ray Ban frames. Hip Hop nowadays is focusing on trends more than ever. It seems to me that Hip Hop is more about fashion now than actual rhymes. Don't get me wrong im a lil wayne fan, but has been let down lately. I've stopped hearing the hunger he had in his rhymes. Though he still makes hot tracks, the hunger for striving to blow past jay-z is long gone in wayne. Either he has seen the reality that his dream to be a better lyricist than jay is not possible or he has just gotten caught up in the Fads of hip hop.
I'm still awaiting to hear the Rebirth album to hopefully see something new and inspiring from wayne.
Lets wait and see what he delivers.

SO FAR GONE??????

SORRY .
Something I have to get of my chest.
I don’t understand why the Hell this kid Drake is everywhere these days. I went outside the US for a bit and while I was overseas I heard of this kid from Degrassi blowin’ up. So I went to check out his mixtape scene. I was not impressed at all. Completely confused at what people are seeing in him. His delivery is totally wack, rhymes aren’t fresh, because he doesn’t talk about SHIT. I saw his "so called freestyle" on HOT 97. Since when is a freestyle READ from a blackberry??? That defeats the purpose of it being a freestyle.

I'll give him credit for the singing though. That maybe a plus point to him but other wise I don’t see anything. His mixtape just has hot beats and below mediocre lyrics. Not hot what so ever.

I’m writing this because it seems like my taste, which is quite vast, is being put on the line.

Someone please try to convince me that I’m wrong about this kid and show me some evidence why he is the next big thing. Don’t claim the following:

"He is the man"

"He is Fiya"

"Drake is the future"

Please refrain for these false accusations about this dude.

Tell me something real...
